Collars and ID tags provide the first line of defense if your pet goes missing. But collars can get frayed and tags can get lost or become unreadable. We offer microchipping for your pet’s safety and your peace of mind.

How Microchipping Works

A microchip is a small electronic device about the size of a grain of rice. It is implanted under your pet’s skin with a needle. It takes very little time to implant the chip and it causes only a small amount of pain. The chip has a unique number on it that can be picked up and read by a scanner, should your pet be found. And unlike collars and tags, a microchip is permanent.

If you have an outdoor pet, we recommend microchipping to increase the odds of being reunited with your family’s best friend if he or she is ever lost.
