Found Animals

If you have found a pet, check for ID tags and call the phone numbers on those tags. If you pick up an animal in another area, you should contact the authorities in that area.

Some pets have an identification chip (microchip) implanted under their skin. Most shelters have the readers to check for a chip and contact the owners. The Paradise Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) has a scanner, currently located at their facility.
